Privacy Policy

This policy describes what actually happens on this shop. If a service listed here is switched off or replaced, this text is updated with it.

Who is responsible

The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is black&schweiz, Silvan Schuppisser, Büttenenring 8, 6006 Lucerne, Switzerland. For any question about your data, write to info@blackandschweiz.com.

What data we process

Order data: name, delivery and billing address, email address, the items ordered and the amount paid. Without this data an order cannot be fulfilled.

Contact data: whatever you write to us by email, kept as long as needed to answer and to document the matter.

Technical data: when you open this website, our hosting provider records the usual server data — IP address, time of the request, browser and operating system, the page requested. This is needed to deliver the site and to defend against attacks.

Hosting and shop platform

This website is built as a custom storefront; the shop, catalogue, cart, checkout and order management run on Wix (Wix.com Ltd. and its group companies). Wix processes the data listed above on our behalf as a processor, and may store or process it on servers outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the United States.

Payments

Payments are processed by Wix Payments and, where offered, by PayPal. When you pay, the payment data you enter goes directly to the payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. The provider processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, and passes back to us only what we need to fulfil and account for the order.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how the shop is used — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, whether an order is completed. Google processes this data on our behalf and may transfer it to servers in the United States. IP addresses are shortened where the service supports it.

We use the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure the effect of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show ads to people who have visited this shop. The pixel reports events such as a page view or a completed purchase to Meta, which may link them to a Meta account if you have one.

Both services set cookies or comparable identifiers. You can object at any time by writing to us, by using your browser settings, or through the settings of the respective provider.

Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address and the fact and time of your sign-up, and send it through Wix Email Marketing. We use the address only for the newsletter. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link; after unsubscribing the address is removed, except where we must keep proof of the earlier consent.

Cookies

Cookies that are strictly necessary keep the shop working — for example remembering the contents of your cart. They cannot be switched off without breaking the shop.

Analytics and advertising cookies are set by the services named above. They are not necessary for the shop to function.

External links

This site links to Instagram and, in the customer information, to third-party frame makers. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that provider applies. We have no influence on what they collect.

How long we keep data

Order and invoicing data is kept for ten years, as Swiss bookkeeping law requires. Contact emails are kept as long as the matter needs it. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in the respective service.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, have incorrect data corrected, have data deleted where we are not required to keep it, and object to processing for advertising purposes. Write to info@blackandschweiz.com. If you are in the EU or EEA, the rights under the GDPR apply in addition, including the right to data portability and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Changes

We update this policy when the shop changes. The current version is always the one published on this page.
