About us.

black&schweiz started in 2019 with a simple idea. If you wanted a photo of your own city in your apartment or office, you found either mass-produced imports or the same three postcard views that already hang in a thousand living rooms. Yet every Swiss city has far more to offer than its best-known landmark. A backyard in Winterthur, a unique bridge in Bern, a Zurich neighbourhood you only know if you have lived there.

So we started photographing exactly those places ourselves. Today it is more than 400 motifs from 27 Swiss cities, and the collection keeps growing.
